Hi guys, So in this corona period many of you would be put in a situaiton to work from home. And this change would really have it's pros and cons. Though you had gotten valuable time with family members still it's not easy to work in home environment. With so much other distractions going on in the house from your kids noisily playing around the house to elders watching TV, it would really be taking on your nerves. And the change in work atmosphere and arrangements in your house is really making you frustrated. OK take deep breaths and think of how to solve the problem at hand. Of course you can't go around ordering people to maintain silence, it would be better for you to choose a secluded place like a room for you to work in and lock yourself in. Then comes the main problem, how to bring work atmosphere in your house. That's where work table organisation comes to your rescue. You create a atmosphere of your style and comfort. See to that the room has enough sunlight or make some artificial arrangements for it. Put the table at a comfortable position and start arranging the table and setup surrounding it. A spacious table will enable you to keep things orderly. If you are a regular work going person and trying to get along this corona period, you can adjust with anything your house provides you with. If you are a freelancer, it would be better to invest on a spacious table and a comfortable chair. Because this is going to be your office and building your own home office is going to increase your productivity tremendously.
Planner:
It is a must have for productivity reasons. You can buy a planner or create your own DIY planner to boost productivity. If you are a freelancer or online entrepreneur, you are your on boss. So nobody is going to order you to do things. You work on your own schedule, so keep track on your progress and remind about your targets.
Vision board:
Vision board also plays important role in your productivity. Unlike a planner, a vision board always remains in your vision reminding of your targets and goals. You can use a black board or DIY boards available on stores.
Indoor plant:
You can keep a indoor plant on your table to make your table look cool. Even if you are going to get stressed during your work. The plant will motivate you and give you a relaxing feeling.
Table lamp:
If you are a night owl then sure adding a table lamp to your organization is a good thing. In that way you don't have to disturb others or waste much electricity.
File storage cabinet:
So having storage for files and paper works is important because you can't keep these lying scattered across the table. Properly arranged table only will boost productivity or else you are going to waste your time finding your objects. You should properly store and label your works. You can buy a table with enough storage system or get some storage boxes or decorate the waste cardboard boxes and use it.
Pen stand:
Pen holders or other essential holders are very important for your table. All the basic things like staplers, paper clips, fevicol, scissors are very essential and keeping it in a separate holders will come handy. You can even use tea cups for storing these things, it will really look cool.
Electronic holders:
Keep your chargers, USB cables, pen drives and other electronic items in separate holder so that you could access it easily.
Table calendar:
You can also use table calenders to track your deadlines.
Wall posters:
Use some motivational wall posters to keep you focused. It's not easy to motivate yourself when working alone. There will be somedays you will be in your procrastination mode. So placing a motivational quote placed above your work table will urge you to get into action mode.
Coffee or snacks:
It is hard to keep track of time when working from home, so we must do some arrangements before sitting for work so that we may not go without water or food for hours. We can keep a water bottle, coffee flask, snacks and fruits in a bowl that whenever necessary we can consume it.
Decorative candles and idols:
If you want to add extra effect to your table you can add decorative candles and idols. You can also add flower vases and some cool family photo to your table.
